Step 1: Prepare for Installation

Log in to your portal and make sure you have the RETR onboarding video ready to follow along.

Step 2: Installing the RETR Snapshot

Click on “Install RETR Snapshot.”

You’ll receive a confirmation message indicating the installation of a folder, ten custom fields, and the RETR workflow.

Close the confirmation message, but keep the RETR video open to follow along.

Step 3: Refresh Your Portal

Navigate back to your portal. Refresh your screen after 1 to 5 minutes.

You should now see the RETR menu on the left side. Additionally, in the automations section, you’ll find a new workflow titled "RETR - New Agent Contact"

Step 4: Accessing the RETR Webhook

Open the automation for the "RETR - New Agent Contact"

Click on the RETR webhook and copy it.

Switch to RETR.

Step 5: Pasting the Webhook into RETR

In RETR, go to the top-right menu and click on Integrations.

From the dropdown, select “Other,” and type in “LO portal.”

Paste the webhook you just copied into the designated field.

Step 6: Sending Test Data

Return to the RETR home screen.

Click on “Push to CRM” to send test data.

Go back to the automations section and select the "RETR - New Agent Contact"

Click on the RETR webhook again and then click on “Fetch Examples.”

Step 7: Saving Trigger Data

Once you fetch the examples, you should see the data you just sent in a dropdown menu.

Click on it to view the data that will be added to the CRM.

Click on “Save Trigger.”

After saving, make sure to publish it and click save again.

Step 8: Finalizing the Integration

Return to RETR and push the lead again.

This action will create a new contact in your contact section.

When you open their contact card, you’ll see their information, phone number, and where they came from.

You’ll also find a folder labeled “RETR info” containing a link to their RETR profile and all the information RETR passes to you for use in automations or follow-ups.

Step 9: Enhancing Your Workflow

Open the RETR contact automation workflow.

Currently, it only creates them as a contact.

Enhance this workflow by clicking the plus sign to add actions such as:

Adding contact tags

Assigning the contact to yourself

Adding notes

Creating follow-up tasks

Optionally, send automated emails or texts, but only if you have explicit permission to contact them.
